This dress from Calvin Klein is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Versatile, sleek and professional-with-a-pop-of-color sheath dress it is great for many occasions.
And did I mention that it’s oh-so-comfortable?
I wore this dress for my graduation from my masters. (More on how I made the decision to get a masters later!) It was perfect for graduation because May in Washington is predictably really hot. I didn’t want to go with the typical spring-styled dress that I wore at my undergraduate graduation because I felt that my masters graduation was a professional experience that merited a dress with a little more decorum and less youth.
It turned out to be a great choice.
Like the previous dresses I’ve shared in this series (see here and here) this dress can be worn for a variety of occasions, including for a little fancier date night at the local wine bar, or to go to a play.
But why did I select this summery dress as a good transitional dress to fall weather? The dress is made of a thicker material, so it could be worn with a black sweater or black blazer on a cooler day. The tan color on the side also hints at fall colors, making it a great dress to transition to brisker breezes. It also allows you to be the little ray of sunshine on those cloudier, gloomier fall days.
Cheers loves,
Liv
