Fall is my all-time favorite season. Mine and Zach’s birthdays are both in the Fall and so is Thanksgiving. Fall has a certain sweetness. Something about holding your friends and family’s just a little tighter and feeling just an ounce more filled with gratitude.
The colors of the leaves as the trees age gracefully. I just love it.
But for those among us who still want a little bit of summer with their transition to fall, these next three posts are for you. These next three posts are also for the business casual lovers among us.
Like most Washingtonians, I spend most of my days in business casual. But I think that these dresses are great for the working and non-working woman alike. All three dresses are very comfortable and could be worn for a variety of occasions — church, bridal and baby showers, weddings, and in some settings for just an especially dressy day.
In years past, Labor Day signaled the end of summer whites and beginning of darker fall colors. Although it’s not necessarily gauche to wear white after Labor Day anymore, one has to be a little more creative in their choice of summery patterns.
But until October, I say, bring on the brighter florals and lighter colors.
Cheers loves,
Liv
